Victron DC-TO-DC charger - can it be configured to draw less current from alternator??

Can the Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-Volt 30 amp DC-TO-DC charger - be configured by software to draw less current amps from alternator e.g 10amps?


Renogy dc to DC allows configuration settings to reduce charging amps which indirectly controls amps drawn from alternator.

Salut,

I do not think the "old" Orion TR DC/DC charger allow to define the currents, but the new Orion XS has this functionality (for the input and the output current).
