Include time of day in VEConfigure assistant programming

I would like to use "Time of day" as a conditional in structuring VEConfigure assistants.

Is this a possibility?

The inverter has no internal clock.

Using the generator input from the GX to set timers and signal and internal relay with the GX relay for time based things. I use it to trigger an AC2 out at certain times.

Also had it once to connect to grid at certain times to treat it like a generator.

More sophisticated way is to use node red integrations on Venus is large.

Wait, you mean generator input on the inverter?

No the GX can tell the time. So set up the relay on the GX as if it is signalling a generator.

Wire that relay to the aux or temperature in the inverter.

You can use an assistant for the aux or temp relay (in the inverter) to trigger other things.

If you run through on demo mode you will see option for them.

Have wondered this in the past. Does it work on the MPII-GX variants which AFAIK do not have a GX relay output?

No idea, don't use them for anything more than a simple ESS or back up solution.

But node red is an option here and it has time built in.
