MultiplusII 48V 70A

I have A Multiplus 2 and a smart solar 250/70 together with a 14kW battery.

Yesterday I had an issue with the BMS that "melted" (1 year of operation) So my question is is the Mutiplus, if connected to the grid and the Smart solar possible to use without the battery?

I mean can the grid act as support to the load without any interrupts or is the battery needed for stability?

the thing is that Im a bit scared to have a battery bank after the incident. The BMS "melted" but did not turn of so I will never ever trust that stuff to work again

No.

The inverters are not designed nor supported without a battery.
