MPPT RS 450/100 -Tr inconsistent charging

img-4281.png

I have two sets of solar panels. One has 6 panels at 410w. The second has 8 panels at 410w. Occasionally I have seen both working full steam but often I will have one at 2000w and the other at perhaps 300w. Today one is at 1800 and the other is at zero. Sometimes one is taking the lead and producing most of the power and sometimes it’s swapped. They are on the roofs of teo buildings each facing the same direction at a similar angle. Is this something weird the equipment is doing or something I’m configuring wrong. In the summer Ive gotten up to 7500w or so from the two sets when they’re both producing well.

Thanks in advance for your help!

@wmhaynes

You batteries are they can managed (i can see batt temp usually is an indicator of that)?

It is likely the battery limiting the mppt.

They both produce but are capped by something in the system.
