SmartShunt VE.Direct connection to Philippi Battery Monitor BTM2

Is it possible to connect the VE.Direct data output of a SmartShunt to the LIN Bus input of a Philippi Battery/Tank Monitor BTM?
Or will I have to install a second shunt from Philippi just to generate the data output on a LIN Bus?
