EasyPlus 12/1600/70 with LiPoFe4

Hi, can the EasyPlus 12/1600/70 inverter/charger be used with non-Victron LiPoFe4 batteries?

I'm planing to use the Winston LiPoFe4 cells with the REC-BMS.

Thanks a lot in advance!

@AlexR sure, why not.

Just make sure the multi is programmed for your battery voltages.

And your BMS is effective in protecting your cells.

Perfect, thanks :-)

Does it mean, that the EasyPlus is in its configuration possibilities identical with the MultiPlus? I see in the MultiPlus docs the additional info: "Lithium Ion battery compatible"

@AlexR the Easysolar is essentially a multiplus with the addition of a small ac switchboard.

Have a look at the Victron Connect / VE Bus manual for config details.
