inverter charger stopped working

We have a Multiplus 12 3000, 120 230/240 volt Victron inverter charger on our 52 foot motor boat. We overloaded it and it shutdown. When we restart it the inverter light comes on and the low battery light comes on and then the low battery light flashes, and then the inverter side shuts down but the charger side shows lights on as though it is working, but it's not. We've checked external fuses, battery terminals and can't find anything wrong. We've spoken to the guy who installed it and he suggested we check everything with the multimeter, which we have done, and everything is fine and the batteries are fully charged. DOn't know what else to do,

regards Anna and Gary

when the multiplus was restarted, were all 120v loads isolated? How do you know the batteries are fully charged - was it from checking the battery voltage, looking at an electronic SOC meter, or?

And are you underway with no access to service techs?

We're 240 Volt, but yes load was isolated. The batteries are fully charged we checked with a meter, and our smart solar HQ1810Qe4zy is keeping them charged at 13.73 Volts and on float. WE are in a marina now, how do we access a service tech from VIctron?

Hi @Anna,

The behavior you describe usually points to a disconnected battery, can you or someone else double check this?

Remember that when there is AC on the input, there will be DC on the battery terminals even if the battery is disconnected.
