Voltage Spikes on Absorption

Hey there,

I installed a LiFePo4 battery and changed all setting in every device to LiFePo4 Settings.

The new Renogy Battery was shipped with 13,19V and I measured every cell : 3,29V.

I connected the battery to my sytem. I had Lead acid for half a year and never had problems like this.

Now while first charging cycle in absorption the voltage spikes and the current too. I can see the power coming from AC in too, so it got charged in the battery!

The official absorption voltage on my Battery is 14,4V, so no disconnect triggert. Also there wasn't any sun and no DC currents.

So the Voltage spike was from the MultiPlus-2 itself!

First charging:

Second charging today:

So it peaked only one time, short after that it went to float.

While float, no peaks occur.

Maybe someone know anything about it.

Settings:

I have also ESS and DVCC configured. The LiFePo4 only has an internal BMS, no CAN,Bluetooth or similar.

ESS is keep the battery charged and only DC excess feed in configured.

The only thing that changed, I have no voltage sense connected to the MP2 because the ring terminal is too small, is this a problem?!

Thanks for suggestions!
