smartshunt to measure charging

Hi,

Im trying to connect some small wind generators with built in electronics that provides 48VDC to a multiplus II inverter with a 48V lead acid battery.

Im planning to use a smartshunt to measure the power from the wind generators, and the MPPT controller measure to the PV power, is it possible to run this setup and mange the battery charge/discarge and SoC or do i need one additional smartshunt on the battery?

As drawn, the SmartShunt in the system is a DC energy meter measuring your wind output. For battery SOC and usage information, you need another SmartShunt or a BMV-7xx in battery monitor mode, connected as the first and only thing connected to the battery bank negative.
