Generator sizing for 3 Phase 3xQuattro system

We have a 60kW solar system that is made of the following components:

3x Quattro 48/15000 (one per phase)

2xFronius Eco 27kW

136x440w Pannels

1xCerbo GX

1x SmartShunt 1000 Amps

60kWh Lithium Batteries configured as 48V

We had a 60KVa generator as backup to allow maintenance and when problems occur. However we need to move the generator for another project in another location.

The question we have is what is the minimum size 3 phase generator required that will enable us to start the system and charge the batteries( the time it takes is not really important), we have tested a 7.5kva but when we start the quattros the generator trips. This is a remote location without access the grid.

Thanks a lot.

You'll need to set a maximum Input Current Limit on each Quattro. But you can only go so low with standard settings.

The minimum listed AC Input setting is 14.5A (230V) for each of those Quattros. That's like 3300W each.

A workaround would be to disable PowerAssist, then you can set it lower. But then you'd need to keep any loads you may be running also below that setting.

I'd also check Dynamic Current Limiter (if not already), which is like a soft start to give the genset a few seconds to wind up.
