I own a Multiplus II 48/5000/70 which is configured as ESS with a Cerbo GX.
I want to move this application to a different location. Is it possible to completely reset the setup, including history? If yes, how?

To reset the inverter configuration, you can use ve.configure and click on menu option 'load defaults' to restore to factory shipped default settings. As far as history, are you referring to VRM history? That is attached to the gx device. I think that can be done from the VRM website.
