Small generator goes "Overload" EasySolar 24/1600/40 and MPPT 100/50

I attempted to use my small generator (700 W, Inverter output) as additional power source / battery charger on EasySolar 24/1600/40 and MPPT 100/50. This is a 240 volt, off-grid cabin setup.
After a few seconds of running, the generator indicated "Overload" and turned off.
What is the minimum required power of a generator connected to this EasySolar?
Is there an adjustment to reduce required generator power so that a 700 W generator can be used without overloading it?

@Toweri Lower your input voltage limit to about 2.9a (the multi can go down to 2.4a) and reduce your charge current to 20a.

That should lower the load on the genset to about 650w (va?).

The EasySolar manual indicates there being only one DIP switch to adjust "AC input current limit", 12 or 4 Amps.

@Toweri You will need a MK3 > usb programming device. You can then use Victron Connect or VE Configure 3 to program your multi.

If you have a GX device it may be possible to program the multi without a MK3.
