Smart BMV712 shows only product information in App

Hi ,

I just figured out, that my BMV in the Bluetooth App shows only the product information page. I cant see any battery status anymore.. The display still shows normal values...

Does anyone know what happend? Here the app screen :

Hi @lynckmeister

This means that the internal Bluetooth dongle is not able to communicate with the battery monitor part. First thing to try is to power cycle the BMV by disconnecting the grey cable in the back for 2 minutes and then reconnect it. When it then still has this behavior, it is probably a hardware failure, in which case you should contact you seller/distributor to apply for warranty.

have you tried a different phone, are you using victron connect app and have you got the latest app version.

try uninstalling the app and reinstall it from the app store
