I have a Victron Pallas 12V, 50A charger and three batteries on my Hallberg Rassy 39: one battery to start the motor, and 2 service batteries. Total: 435 Ah. On the Volvo motor, there is a dynamo of 60A and an extra alternator of 50A. When I use the Pallas charger, it always starts with the float phase, even when the batteries are around 80% full. So, charging with the Victron Pallas takes days! With the motor, the batteries are fully charged in a couple of hours. Is there a way to reset the charger? (e.g. to start with the equalize or boast phase?).
