ORION Tr Converter......why can't you use it to charge....?

So what are the reasons that the Orion Tr is not recommended for use to charge a lithium leisure battery from a standard old school alternator....

You'll probably get away with it, but you're relying on the BMS to shut down when full.

Hence you have an adjustable one?

As written in the Datasheet, all ADJUSTABLE Orion-Tr CAN be used as charger (I do the same with a 24/24-12) and it works fine for acid batteries, but I would not dare to charge Lithium batteries.
