Thermostat controlling phoenix inverter?

I want to run a fridge from my 12/350 inverter. There's a connection block for switching the inverter on and off, but nothing in the manual about how to use it. Do the terminals need shorting to switch on the inverter or do I need to feed it a voltage?

What I am hoping to do is to attach a thermostat from inside the fridge to the connection block to switch on the inverter as needed. Would this work?

Thanks,

John

The remote on/off switch of the inverter just needs shorting. It might work to connect the thermostat in between.

As the zero-load current on this model is very low, you don´t need to intervene in the refrigerator circuit which would be much safer.
