BMV 712 unable to connect and not visible to Cerbo and VRM

I have a Victron BMV 712, that has worked well for 2 years, connected to a Cerbo, with a 5kw Quattro, and Skylla-i 100 Battery charger on a sailboat. All worked and continue to work locally, but for some reason, at midnight on 6/26/2023 the BMV and the "DC Power" dropped off the VRM. I stopped seeing the BMV 712, and DC Power exactly at midnight, and so went to the boat today to ensure all was ok. The BMV is on, working and showing accurate data locally. I connect to with Bluetooth and can see good data while using Victron Connect locally. But the Cerbo doesn't see it, and it doesn't show up in available devices. Firmware is latest versions for all devices, and it worked for two years, till midnight. I checked system settings for the Cerbo and it is set to automatic for the Battery monitor and On for DC Power. I have rebooted a couple of times and toggled all the settings, as well as disconnected and reconnected.

The BMV and Cerbo are communicating via a VE.direct cable, so you should check that.

Unplug it and plug it in again on both sides. Check it for damages. Maybe try another cable.

Thanks Matthias,

Bad VE Direct cable. I switched it and it is now back communicating. Thanks!
