Phoneix 12 1200 cutting out under load.

I have a phoneix 12 1200 that under high load starts to cut out. I have considered the bms but that stays on and the 12 volt circuits remain powered during the inverter cutting out. I have a smart shunt and the voltage doesn't drop lower than 12.8 volts on trends. I have read the low voltage cut out is preset at 10.5 volts. Can anyone shine any light on it? The load is 1100-1150 Watts and is on for around 2 -3 minutes, cutting out after about 1 1/2 minutes.

What kind of load is that? How do you measure the power?

Its a kettle, measure the power through the BMS and the shunt, both Read more or less the same .

According to the spec sheet below the Cont. power at 25°C / 40°C 1000 / 850W maybe just overloading it?

Maybe.... the peak power is down as 2200 watts, I would expect the inverter to be able to cope with 1200 watts for 2 minutes, maybe I'm wrong.

I'm going to check voltage drop under load from the bms to the inverter to try and ID any external issues. I will post the results on here ,it won't be for a couple of days. Thanks for the replies.

Found the issue, the DC circuit breaker feeding the inverter is dropping voltage after about 30 seconds use, from 13.2 volts to 3.4 volts, it cools down and the voltage raises after about 20 seconds and continues doing this. Time to throw the CB and replace with a fuse.
