BatteryProtect 12/24V lithium to lead acid

Can I use BatteryProtect 12/24V to prevent lithium battery from discharging the lead-acid (LA) battery? In other words connecting the lithium to the "IN" terminal and LA to the "OUT" terminal of the BP.

Hi @dgmeier i haven’t used a battery protect for this specific purpose but in theory it should work. Depending on what you are trying to achieve an Orion DC/DC charger or possibly a Cyrix Battery Combiner may be more effective option.

The BatteryProtect is not designed for that.

You can't prevent to high or reverse current.

Thanks for the answer Matthias. Woukd you suggest a DC-DC charger or isolator instead of the battery protect?
