VE.Direct LoRaWan declaration of conformity

Dear all,

I would like to implement a BMV-712 with the VE.Direct LoRaWan module, so that it can be connected with our LoRaWan network.

Our firm is situated in French Polynesia and we need the equipment to be in accordance with the declaration of conformity RED 2014-53-EU so that we can use it here. This specification is relative to the frequencies used.

Can you confirm me that the products are in accordance with this norm?

Best regards,

GUNEAU François

Hello Francois,

The radio inside the LoRaWan device is a Pycom LoPy 1.0.

There is a declaration of conformity with LoRa here:

https://pycom.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/LoRa-Certification-Certificate-Pycom_LoPy1.0.pdf

There is a further list of compliance documentation for this chip available here:

https://fccid.io/2AJMTLOPY1R

for example - https://fccid.io/2AJMTLOPY1R/Test-Report/lora-15-249-Test-Report-3169623

I don't see anything specific to RED 2014-53-EU, though it may be encompassed in a more general declaration of conformity.

Such as here - https://pycom.io/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/lopySpecsheetAugust2017.pdf

EU Regulatory Conformance

"Hereby, Pycom Ltd declares that this device is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC."

I hope this helps you find what you need, and best of luck with the project.
