Smartshunt SOC suddenly jumps to 100%

Smartshunt 500 connected to a 100 Ah 12V Lithium battery. Consumed Ah was 73.1 and SOC showed 27%. I then connected a Victron10A battery charger and the system charged up to just below 40% and then jumped up to 100% SOC. Actual battery charge is below 40% and not 100%. This is confirmed where battery charger shows it charged only 12 Ah.

Your charged voltage set to 13.2V is far too low and will prematurely synchronise a 100% SOC reading after 3 minutes. The battery will be nowhere near full.

Mine is set to 14.1V and the Charge detection time to 3 minutes at which point my 4 cell 300Ah LiFePO4 battery is always full.

Perfect operation for the last few years.

Also if your normal charging is from solar, consider increasing the detection time to cater for clouds lowering the charge rate.
