Considering a small mini-grid with hydropower generation and lithium battery energy storage. We plan to use Victron´s SmartSolar 250/60 MPPT MC4 charge controller and 3 Victron Quattro 48/5000/70-100/100 grid-forming inverters to generate a three-phase, 50Hz, 415V L-L / 240V L-N supply, providing a rated output of 5kVA per phase.
Would it be possible to interconnect a second mini-grid, relatively close and with similar size, to act as each other back-up in case of need? Both mini-grid will be designed to be independent.
Does anyone have experience in doing this?
