Will the MPPT charger trick the DC to Dc charger?

I have a AGM start battery and lithium house batteries. The lithiums are charged by the Victron 12/12 30 dc to dc charger. I'd like to install a 50 watt solar panel and a Victron 75/15 MPPT charge controller directly to the AGM starting battery to keep it "trickle charged" up at all times. Will the MPPT charger trick the DC to DC charger into thinking the alternator is charging the start battery, and thus drain power from the start battery to charge the litiums when engine is actually NOT running?

Yes, in default operating mode the Orion starts working if the input voltage above the configured threshold no matter why the voltage is rising.

If you want to charge the starter battery with PV you have to connect the Orion remote terminal to a "engine is running" signal. So the Orion will only start working if the engine is running and he gets that signal.
