Two Battery Banks, two Smart Shunt, one Chassis Ground

Good morning,

can somebody help me to find out how I can use two Shunts with one Chassis Ground?

I read a few post´s but i can´t find th eright answer.

My system has two Battery Banks and one chassis Ground.

When i use a Shunt for each Bank to see the right SOC it should probably no problem to show it on VRM or?

On the positiv side there is only a connection between both banks to a Orion DC/DC charger to prevent Alternator heat up.

But not all DC Loads in the system are isolated on the minus side to the chassis.

Can this be a problem?

Best regards Robert

Your diagram looks ok.

I would put bus bars at these locations.

DONT forget appropriate fusing.
