Can I replace the VE Can Terminator with the NEMA2000 adapter cable

Currently I have my Lynx Shunt connected to my Cerbo GX via one of the VE Can RJ45 ports, with the other port terminated with the provided blue terminator plug. Can I replace the terminator plug with a NEMA2000 adaptor or will I need to put the terminator plug in one of the other RJ45 ports?

The other end of the NEMA2000 adapter will go into a SeaTalk/NEMA2000 block with has a terminator in it so I am guessing I can do away with the terminator in the Cerbo GX altogether.

You can omit the VE.Can terminator entirely on the Cerbo GX if the NMEA 2000 network is properly terminated. Then the Cerbo GX is connected to the N2K network via the adapter cable like any other N2K device connected via a drop cable.

Do not plug the terminator into the other connector labeled BMS-Can or VE.Bus can.
