correct mcb ac out 1 and 2 for multiplus 48 5000 70

Can anyone give me the correct size of mcb for ac1 out and ac2 out and how its worked out. Thanks in advance

This depends upon what size of cable you plan to use.
The MCB will protect the cable.

Cable size is 10mm. I am on the understanding how it is worked out by 5000/ 230v = 21.7a . Is this correct?

Hi @Jimhon

You also need to consider that the Multi has ACIn to passthrough as well as it's own output. In the 5kVA EasySolar box (Multi I with breakers), Victron provide a 63A RCD for ACOut1, which is then split off to 10 and 16A mcbs for individual circuits. ACOut2 just has a single 16A mcb.

These could be easily changed out to something else, or the wiring changed around to have more mcbs on ACOut2. All within good practice of course.
