Can I match old and new inverters in a parallel configuration?

These are both 12/3000/230 Phoenix Inverters. The firmware tags are visible in the photos. If it is possible to configure them in parallel, it seems that the older model will need to be updated to some degree. I was thinking that I would possibly need to buy a second new inverter for this configuration but I am hopeful that this can be done with the existing hardware.

- All units in one system must be the same type and firmware version, this includes same size, system voltage, and feature set. The type is indicated by the first four digits of the firmware version number.

You have to update both to the same FW Version.
