Grid Fail Swith Multiplus II

HI

My system is grid tied.

However, when the power fails, the inverter immediately turns itself off

After the grid is restored, it can take up to 4 minutes before the inverter starts again, during which time I have no power.

This is incredibly infuriating, but I am certain it is just a setting

other than that it works well

Any suggestions as to where to start.

Many thanks

runs happily at all other times

I have the pylontech batteries. 4 x 2.4 kwh (9.6kwh total) using 50mm cable(according to invoice) battery connections are all specific, supplied with the batteries. all fuses tight and intact.

as i said, its only when the power goes off. All other times it runs fine. Pulls upto 4000w from batteries alone at night

Thanks for the help

Are you using a grid code?

Some more informations and maybe pictures of the system would help.

Also some screenshots of the VE.config settings.

It would have to have been set to put ess on as it is a requirement.

See the grid tab.

ok. Thanks for that. I am new to this and bought my system ready configured. I have only been using the dashboard on the VRM Portal.

I think the best way for me is to contact the company who sold it to me, to see if they can check it. They have been very good so far.

I assume that they can configure remotely if I give them access.

Thank you again for the assistance.

Are the batteries wired through any sort of current surge protection device? If the normal demand is applied gradually, but an outage slams in all at once, it could trip a surge protection device if installed. If not as a separate device, something within the BMS for the batteries? If I try to power up my Multiplus Compact from a single Battle Born 100Ah battery, the battery will immediately disconnect until the capacitors in the Multiplus are more charged.
