I bought a pc laptop and have been trying unsuccessfully to program it after giving up on the dip-switches. Realizing the MK3 will not work (tried two) I bought an MK2 USB and two different Victron brand ethernet cables. VE Configure recognizes the Mk2 and then says retrieving data but it stops responding every time at that state and I have to force quit. I reinstalled it and the drivers several times.
Is there anyone here that can to help with this? I cant find the correct manual to work with the dipswitches.. I know it's very old but would be extremely happy not to have to buy a new one. It does work.
