Correct wiring of wireless victron shunt

All the information I have found says that only a single wire from the battery neg. terminal should connect to the battery neg of the shunt. Am I correct to assume then that the neg. wire from a solar controller should only go to the load minus side of the shunt?

@Ksb

It is labelled.

But there should be nothing connected between the shunt and the battery. (Except the connecting cable) Everything else is connected to the load side of the shunt.

@Ksb …..yes, all of the current to and from the battery must flow through the shunt for it to keep track of things. The solar ground must connect to the system side of the shunt and not the battery side.
