Victron Quattro with LFP battery

Dear all,

one of our costumer runs several Victron Quattros 48/10000/140 as a server back up.

The lead acid batteries are completly gone, and I would like to offer him new LFP batteries.

We have Growatt ARK on stock. Will it work?

If the battery can supply the current the inverter needs and works within the inverter voltage ranges, then yes, you can use the battery.

Will it have comms with the colour control, no. As far as I know it is not an officially supported battery.

I have seeb several unsupported batteries plug into the colour control and show SOC and a few other details. But they do not do system control as the official list does.

If it does not talk then install a BMV if accurate SOC and monitoring is wanted.

Thanks Alexandra for the prompt and supportive reply.

That list of supported batteries is really helpful
