106Ah Lead Carbon Battery Bank Settings

Hi I have just bought 5 x 106Ah (530Ah Bank) Victron Lead Carbon batteries for my boat and want to programme the correct charging settings on my Cerbo GX/ Shunt. Can you advise on the correct Victron Connect settings via the shunt i.e.:

What the following settings should be:

1 - Charged voltage

2 - Tail current

3 - Peukert exponent

4 - Charge efficiency factor

5 - Current threshold

Can be a bit confusing. I have the same batteries in a 24V configuration. These settings work well for me, but you may need to tune in line with the advice in the video

Absorption 14.1

Float 13.5

Temp comp -12.00mV/C (guesswork, can't find a published figure)

Charged voltage 14.0

Tail current 3% (configured for solar)

Charge detection time 6m

Peukert 1.25

Charge efficiency 95% (probably too high, 85% probably better as I don't use much of the capacity)

Current threshold 0.1A

Use at your risk and please let us know if there's something wrong
