Using the Multiplus 2 I would need to install a EM24 with a RS485 to USB interface to measure energy flow into the grid. This is allready done by a ehz-KW8E2A5L0EQ2P installed by my provider. I read the data of the meter with a D0 optical infrared to USB interface used with a Raspi. This interface uses a FTDI FT232R / FT230X (USB-to-UART Serial Converter). So would it be possible to link that interface with the multiplus 2?
