What are the correct settings for Lynx BMS setup with 10 Victron 24v batteries?

We installed 10 24v Victron batteries and the Victron dealer did the initial setup. They set the Lynx BMS…settings…total AH 200….batteries 1. Is this correct? Or should it be 2000AH and 10 batteries?

Hi @Alec Thyrre , you need to put in the total bank capacity. You are aware that the maximum amount of batteries in parallel is 5? So I assume that is wired in series to be a 48V battery bank - right?

So then its:

- 48V

- 5 x 200Ah = 1000 Ah

- 5 in parallel.

Ps, also for other people looking for explanation on settings: please check the manual. Its available for download here: https://www.victronenergy.com/dc-distribution-systems/lynx-smart-bms
..

And explains that this setting for the bank capacity, not individual battery module capacity.

First thank you for your reply. We have 3 distributors with each battery on its own spot ie. 2 distributors with 4 batteries each and one distributor with 2 batteries going into a Lynx BMS

According to our dealer that was how Victron said to set it up
