Why would you connect auto ignition to ATC on a BMS?

I'm confused by some of the schematics that Victron has published as examples for how to use the Lynx Smart BMS. I've only looked at two so far and they both show a wire from the auto ignition going to ATC on the BMS, along with a wire from ATC going to the H connector on an Orion DC/DC converter. I don't understand this. Why would one tie +12V to the ATC output of a BMS? It seems to me the ignition should go to the L input of the remote connector on the Orion.

Please enlighten me. I'm missing something.
