We have a client with two Multigrid 24/3000 units in parallel and we need to upgrade it to three phase, is it possible to use a multiplus for the additional inverter or does it have to be a Multigrid, system is offgrid so the dual relays are not required?

All units need to be the same. A MultiGrid can't be used together with a normal MultiPlus.
You need to find another (used) MultiGrid or change all to new MultiPlus.
