Victron multiplus II three-phase and battery manager

Hello everyone,

I am installing a three-phase system with 3 mulitplus 48/5000. For the batteries I have planned 3 strings of 4 FIAMM 101Ah 12 volt batteries.

My question: should I install Victron manager battery to balance the loads between them or do the mulitplus manage this internally?

Thanks for your answers.

The multiplus will not manage that - as all 3 units are connected to one large bank and the bank has 3 strings in your configuration, however if they are Lithium's then there internal BMS should keep them balanced, make sure you get the cells upto there balancing voltage's. Its highly recommended in my opinion that your batteries have internal Bluetooth in them so that you can monitor each ones cell voltage.
