Disconnect Sequence for smart shunt

I followed the installation video for connecting the Smart shunt to my RV battery: 1. connect negative terminal of battery to battery negative terminal on smart shunt. 2 Connect system negative to load minus on smart shunt. 3 connect red cable from smart shunt to positive terminal on battery.

I want to disconnect the smart shunt from the battery for the winter season.

My question is: Do I reverse the installation sequence for disconnecting the smart shunt from the system. i.e. removing red positive cable from battery first, then disconnecting negative ground?

Normally when disconnecting the battery I remove the negative ground first then the positive cable.

Just disconnect the red positive lead first. If you're dosconnecting the battery, do that next.
