No display of consumption in VRM

Hi there,

I have read others topics but didn't find my answer.

I am not a great solar tec... I am only a user. I try to undesrtand, but tec language will loose me ;) And also I am french, but Deepl is my friend.

I have one Cerbo GX and two Pylontech batteries, 2 MPPT, 1 converter, 6 solar panels (400w each). I am off the grid.

My installation has been operational since February. Firmwares are up to date.

From the beginning, I can't see any display of my daily consumption in the dashboard.

How can I display this information?

"I also had the same problem you had. I even asked the community for help, but I didn't get a satisfactory answer. I finally figured out how to see the electrical consumption graphically on the Vrm Portal by experimenting with the Ve-direct and USB inputs. However, you need to use a shunt to access the battery information. If you connect the system in a similar way and unplug the power cable of the cerbo gx for a minute and then plug it back in, the new combination will be detected by the cerbo gx."

But what is a "shunt"?

Is the following picture a Ve-direct? If I plug this and switch off the Cerbo GX then on (with cables) I could be able to have the consomption information in the VRM?

I have this in my solar cabinet, it is connected where my little fingers aims. Is it a shunt?

The connection device in the picture you sent does not transmit data to Cerbo Gx, it is only used for non-Bluetooth phonex or similar devices to appear in the Victron Connect application via Bluetooth and to communicate in their own order. Cerbo Gx only uses the data of the devices connected to it by cable .

I am not tec enough, but I have people around me (and a french community on the internet) that will continue to explain this to me.

Do am I right: the shunt is linked between Master battery and Cerbo GX?

Yes , from shunt you will use USB Ve Direct cable to the Cerbo gx.

What type of "converter" do you have?

If it is not a Victron device you won't be able to see the consumption.

My converter is a Victron one, Phoenix 48/1200. My two MPPT also are Victron (150/35).
