Phoenix 12/350 old style inverter - remote on/off

I have an old style phoenix inverter 12 / 350 (see pictures). For newer models, the manual says that it can be remotely turned on by supplying 12v to the left pin of the remot panel. Is this also true for the older models? Or do I need a switch to connect left and right pin to remotely turn the inverter on? The manual for my model does not tell anything about it.

@Gernot Lepuschitz you can use a switch connected to the remote port as a on / off switch.

Or you could use the inverting adaptor lead to switch the inverter on with a positive input signal.

Many thanks for the quick response. I will use a switch to turn it on/off in that case.
