Pump 12v 4GPM with VICTRON BlueSolar LCD 5A ,Victron Battery 15Ah and Solar Panel 30W not working

Hello,

I'm trying to install a pump 12v 4gpm (https://eur.vevor.com/rv-water-pump-c_11096/vevor-fresh-water-pump-self-priming-sprayer-pump-12v-dc-diaphragm-pump-4-gpm-p_010696203760) with a set battery Victron 15aH and Victron solar panel 30w but it works only 3 seconds and the pump stops, The pump goes up to 18-19A and the controller switch.. wait for 30s and then try to restart, 18-19A and stops. If I connect the pump directly on the battery, the pump works. I have tried to disable short circuit protection but it doesn't work too.

Can you help me please ?

Hi, Water pumps have a very high starting current, and your controller is detecting the overload. Yuo either need to get a higher current controller, or to use an external relay to switch the pump - this will stop the pump current flowing through the controller, but still maintain a timing function or low voltage protection.
