I need you to help me understand what is happening with my system.
This is made up of a 10kW Quattro, 4 BYD 2.54KW batteries and Smartsolar 150/60 with a bank of 3.12kW photovoltaic panels and there was the ESS#1 system with the batteries at 50%, since there was not much sun and connected to the mains.
When the sun came out the system charged 12kW.
Here comes my question how can this be possible

Those are kWh, not kW. Big difference (one is energy, the other is power).
And those 12kWh did not all went into the battery. That is how much the PV array produced. Your house consumed 4.8kWh from which your grid provided 1.7kWh. These values might not be very accurate (depending on which device is measuring them).
Also that 50% SOC maybe it was not a real 50%. What was the battery voltage?
