Is the Hyundai 6000SELR compatible with Easy Solar?

We have had some trouble with our Hyundai generator powering white goods directly.

So, before we fork out on an Easy Solar system, has anybody had experience of using a Hyundai 6000SELR as a back up generator with it? And if so, do you have any hacks?

Generalising, it should work, the Easysolar is a combined unit with multiplus and MPPT.

There was an excellent write up on using generators by @Markus not so long ago. I'll try and find it and post a link, if he doesn't beat me to it.
