Cut off Auxiliary Battery whilst charging with Orion TR Smart 12/12-30 non-isolated

I wonder what happens when the Auxiliary Battery gets disconnected suddenly during a charging process? For example in an emergency situation when I flip the main switch. Is it dangerous and could damage the Orion? Or no Prob at all, the Orion turns off the Input fast enough?

This should not be a problem with the Orion (unlike MPPT's), as the unit can operate in power supply mode too. If you have input to the Orion, and loads on the dc bus (isolated from the battery), the Orion will try to continue to supply these loads. This may cause unexpected voltage on your house system after the battery has been isolated. An additional switch or circuit breaker for the Orion could be installed adjacent to the battery isolator with a small label.
