Firmware update Skylla IP44

Hello,

I bought a Skylla IP44 charger, in France in December 2020, I am now in Greece on a sailboat, impossible to put it into service, it tells me:

ERR 118 INCOMPATIBLE HARDWARE

I checked the connections, everything is correct

I read, unfortunately after purchase, that there were issues with this charger, which required a firmware update.

My device's firmware is 1.02

I have read that an update is necessary, what should I do?

I contacted my reseller who could not answer me.

How to update?

There are two ways to install a new firmware version. It can be remotely via the internet, which requires a Venus-device, such as a Color Control GX or a Venus GX, and an internet connection. And it can be installed by connecting the device to a Windows laptop; using the Victron CANUSB interface.
