Phoenix combi ground relay

I have an old 2001 Phoenix combi and i want to turn the ground relay off to suit UK equiptment.

I have a mk3 to usb and i have tried plugging that into the combi unit to access through ve configure but it dosent seem to want to connect. I presume the unit is too old. Is there another way to do this?

The MK3 is not compatible with the old units.

I'm even not sure if a MK2 and the older VE.config software will work with that unit.
