Is it possible to connect the Venus GX with Texas Instrument board via Ethernet cable ?

Greetings,

May i know whether it is possible to get data displayed in the ' Remote Console' of Venus GX through Modbus TCP coding to Programing board of Texas instruments (launchxl2-570lc43)

Hi.
may I ask you again, what exactly you want to do?

Which data and for what purpose?

When you take your time to supply that information, maybe you will get a good solution here.

Hello Markus,

Thank you for your reply.

I actually want to have make a communication between Venus GX & Programming board (launchxl2-570lc43 )via LAN cable.

From that communication, I want to receive the data which is displayed in the Remote Console of Venus GX.(such as Battery voltage, current, ac loads etc...).

Thus the programmable board gets information about the devices connected to Venus GX and will be able to perform like a VCU(Vehicle Control Unit).

Before that i need to know whther the VGX will provide all information via LAN cable.

Hi,

yes! You can use (e.g.) ModbusTCP protocol to pull data from the VGX to your programming board.

See here:

GX Modbus-TCP Manual [Victron Energy]

and here:

Download file Modbus-TCP register list - Victron Energy

Have fun! ...and success!

This question is too general to give a good answer.

I don't know your programming board.

You want me, to write your code?

Sorry - this is not going to happen.

But see here for examples: modbus tcp c# - YouTube
