Phoenix Multiplus 24/3000 sinewave starts clipping at half load

Hello,

I have a Phoenix Multiplus 24/3000/70 old model and when it's turned on and there is no load on the output the sinewave has a nice curve see next photo;

But when i put a load of 1600W on the output the sinewave starts clipping, see next photo;

Is this normal for a older version of this Phoenix Multiplus or is there something else wrong?

Thanks in advantage for any reaction.

What kind of load? What about the battery voltage at this moment?

@Matthias Lange - DE The load is a water cooker, with no load the battery voltage is 24,0V with the cooker on the battery voltage is 22,4V

That no load Voltage is pretty low to start with. 22.4V is also really low, no surprise it is clipping.
You have ~70A load on the battery, what size is the battery?

@WKirby the battery’s are 2 Victron gel 12V / 220Ah deep cycle in series. The no load voltage looks to me ok if its 24 Volts

A full LA battery should be around 25.4 at NO load depending on Temp to some degree as well, see if graph below helps.
