Connect Venus GX to phone Hotspot (requirements)

Hello Everyone,

Sometimes while installing systems with a Color Control GX or Venus GX, we connect the GX device to a phone hotspot for internet connection for example to update it. This does work perfectly with my Phone (Oppo F11, Android Version 9), but it doesn't connect to my colleagues phone (Techno Pop 2).

What could be the cause? Are there specific requirements a phone/ hotspot needs to meet?

Hello Anna,

Are you able to connect a laptop or other device to your colleague's phone (Techno Pop 2) and get Internet access?

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for the reply. I can connect both my laptop and phone to that hotspot without problems.
