Multiplus float voltage adjusted for temperature

Hi,

Our battery temp sensors are attached to the Venus GX and we can see the readings via VRM, however the inverter does not seem to be adjusting it's float voltage to reflect the temp changes.

I see the multiplus has a t-sense port, but this won't report to VRM.

Should the venus not be using the temp sensor to change the inverter charge voltage?

Thanks

EDIT: just to add, we are adding an MPPT so we need both chargers to be temp aware.

You need to go into the DVCC menu and turn on STS - Shared Temperature Sense. Then you can choose which temperature sensor you want to use.

Please ensure that you understand what you are doing with DVCC. Here is the manual:

Thanks for the explanation.

In the case where you don't have a battery monitor, SVS is enabled by default and recommended for gel batteries. Should this option be left on, even though there is no external battery voltage sensor?

You can leave it on, it will use the Voltage read by the MultiPlus.
